Stress Engineer- Composites Are you an experienced Stress Engineer with a strong background in composite structures? This is an exciting opportunity for a Stress Engineer to join a well-established engineering organisation delivering complex, high-performance solutions into highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, Formula 1 and motorsport. This role would suit a proactive Stress Engineer who enjoys working across both analysis and wider engineering activities within a collaborative team environment. βββββββββββββ- The Role Reporting to the Mechanical Design Team Leader, this Stress Engineer position will see you delivering high-quality analysis and technical support across a range of innovative projects. Performing stress analysis of composite components using FEA tools such as Hyperworks, NASTRAN / PATRAN, ANSYS or similar Applying industry-recognised stress methodologies for both metallic and composite structures Managing and overseeing external analysis sub-contractors where required Conducting value analysis to optimise product performance and development cost Providing technical input on new projects, evaluating requirements and engineering implications Maintaining accurate project records and documentation Driving continuous improvement in design and analysis processes βββββββββββββ- About You To be successful in this Stress Engineer role, you will have proven experience in stress analysis of composite structures within a highly regulated engineering environment (e.g. aerospace, defence, motorsport, F1 or similar).
