I'm recruiting on behalf of an innovative engineering company that designs and delivers bespoke engineering solutions for customers across a range of specialist industries. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on varied, technically challenging projects from concept through to commissioning.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing electrical systems for bespoke machinery
- Producing electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Selecting electrical components and control hardware
- Working closely with mechanical, production and engineering teams
- Supporting testing, commissioning and product improvements
What we're looking for:
- Degree, HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Experience in electrical design within a bespoke machinery, manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to produce electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels
Desirable experience:
- AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN or similar CAD software
- PLCs & HMIs
- Machinery commissioning
- CE/UKCA compliance
