We're working with a specialist Engineering Consultancy who deliver complex, technically demanding projects for clients across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Lead to take ownership of high-value projects while leading a multidisciplinary technical team.

The Role As Engineering Project Lead, you'll take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful delivery, ensuring they are delivered to the required scope, budget, quality and timescale.
You'll work closely with clients, internal teams and external partners, bringing together expertise across Mechanical engineering, design, data science, software, instrumentation and hardware to deliver innovative technical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking full ownership of client and internal projects, including project plans, budgets, margins, risks, dependencies and change control.
Leading multidisciplinary project teams and external partners, setting clear priorities and maintaining momentum through to delivery.
Line managing a cross-functional technical team covering Mechanical Engineering, data science, software and instrumentation/hardware, including objectives, one-to-ones, coaching, development, performance and recruitment support.
Translating advanced digital, data, software and engineering capabilities into practical solutions and measurable client outcomes.
Establishing appropriate project governance and leading client and internal reviews, reporting, issue resolution and escalation.
Planning and balancing resources to ensure projects are appropriately supported throughout delivery.
Developing robust project scopes, proposals, estimates and delivery plans to ensure projects are set up for success.
Identifying opportunities for repeatable products and services, as well as developing existing client relationships into follow-on projects.
