We’re seeking a Contract Quality Engineer to join our client on a 6-month contract, working onsite in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can quickly support a busy and hands-on quality function.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the creation, review, and completion of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Provide general quality support across the department
- Maintain and improve quality systems, processes, and documentation
- Work alongside engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Aerospace sector experience (essential)
- Strong background in quality engineering within regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience with FAIRs and AS9102
- Audit experience (internal, external, or supplier)
- A proactive, detail-focused approach and ability to hit the ground running
