We’re seeking a Contract Quality Engineer to join our client on a 6-month contract, working onsite in Dunstable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can quickly support a busy and hands-on quality function.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation, review, and completion of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Provide general quality support across the department
  • Maintain and improve quality systems, processes, and documentation
  • Work alongside engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Aerospace sector experience (essential)
  • Strong background in quality engineering within regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience with FAIRs and AS9102
  • Audit experience (internal, external, or supplier)
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach and ability to hit the ground running
