Contract Project Engineer (Multi-Disciplinary) Job Title Project Engineer (Multi-Disciplinary) Contract Location Derby (Hybrid/Site-Based as Required) Contract 612 Month Contract (Potential Extension) Outside IR35 £400 per day Overview We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Engineer to support the delivery of industrial automation and renewable energy projects.
The successful candidate will be multi-disciplined, capable of working across electrical design, PLC systems, and SCADA platforms while supporting project delivery from design through to commissioning.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys varied responsibilities and can work independently within a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of industrial control and automation projects.
Produce and modify electrical designs and associated documentation.
Carry out PLC fault finding, modifications and probing activities.
Configure, develop and troubleshoot SCADA systems.
Work closely with Project Managers, Controls Engineers and commissioning teams.
Assist with system integration, testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards and project specifications.
Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
