About the role:
ReeVR Talent are looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our clients dynamic, forward thinking production team. If you have a strong background in CNC setting/operating, enjoy producing high-quality precision components, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and maintain CNC and manual lathe machines.
- Read engineering drawings.
- Carry out first-off and final inspections to ensure parts meet specification.
- Operate multiple machines efficiently to meet production deadlines.
- Deburr and clean finished components ready for assembly.
- Rework or modify production parts when needed.
- Ensure all programmes are backed up daily.
- Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
- Label tools and jigs correctly for easy identification.
- Suggest continuous improvement ideas to support lean manufacturing.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality products on time.
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years' experience in CNC setting and operating.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good computer and communication skills.
- A positive, flexible attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to organise your own workload and meet production targets.
