The Role
We are looking for an experienced AV Installer to join a growing installation team working on high-profile AV and video conferencing projects across the UK. This is a field-based role involving regular travel and staying away Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities for the Installation Engineer:
- Install AV and video conferencing systems in commercial environments
- Fit out conference rooms and meeting spaces to a high standard
- Build, assemble, and terminate AV cabling
- Work in two-person or more installation teams
- Travel to sites across the UK and follow weekly work allocations
- Ensure installations meet quality, safety, and client standards
- Represent the business professionally on customer sites
Working Pattern & Travel for the AV Installation Engineer:
- Monday to Friday, UK-wide travel
- Regular overnight stays during the working week
- Company vehicle provided for site work
- Paid overtime for hours worked beyond contracted hours
Expenses & Probation for the AV Installation Engineer:
- All hotels and work-related expenses covered
- During 6 month probation, expenses and bookings are managed internally
- After probation, company credit card provided
The AV Installation Engineer must have:
- Previous experience as an AV Installation Engineer or similar role
- Confident installing AV systems in commercial settings
- Comfortable with UK travel and staying away from home
- Full UK driving licence
