We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join a high-growth manufacturing business with annual revenues of over 100M. The company has scaled rapidly over the past 7 years – growing from 15 to 120 people – and is now part of a global organisation.
As Plant Manager, you will take full ownership of operations at their flagship UK facility in Reading, leading production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. The appointed Plant Manager will oversee a team of 120 and will be pivotal in supporting further growth and expansion.
Key responsibilities for the Plant Manager:- Lead and motivate 120 employees, including managers and supervisors.
- Oversee production, scheduling, inventory, and cost management.
- Drive Lean and OPEX initiatives as a proactive Plant Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support business growth and expansion plans as the Plant Manager.
- 7 years in manufacturing/production with at least 3 years as a Plant Manager, General Manager, Leadership Position.
- Proven experience working in a business with revenues of 25M or more.
- Strong Lean/Operational Excellence background (Six Sigma a plus).
- ERP/MRP systems knowledge (SAP preferred).
- Track record of leading 75 employees in fast-paced environments.
