The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will take ownership of mechanical design projects, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop robust, innovative and manufacturable products.

Key responsibilities of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer include

  • Developing mechanical designs from concept through to manufacture.
  • Producing detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
  • Designing complex mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Applying DFM/DFA principles to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.
  • Supporting prototyping, testing and design verification.
  • Working with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve design and production challenges.

  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills
