I’m looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to support commercial and utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on Solar PV, LV/MV design and grid-connected electrical infrastructure.
The role will involve producing SLDs, electrical layouts and design documentation for commercial rooftop, ground-mount and larger multi-megawatt solar schemes.
Key experience:
- Electrical design background across Solar PV, renewables, LV systems or wider electrical infrastructure
- Ability to produce SLDs, LV layouts and practical installable designs
- Strong understanding of BS7671 and UK electrical regulations
- Experience with inverters, batteries, distribution, protection devices and grid-connected systems
- CAD experience essential; Trimble experience preferred
- Ideal background would be a qualified electrician who has moved into design
Hybrid setup to begin with, then remote working available once up to speed. Long-term contract opportunity with potential permanent options available.
