Senior Buyer – Engineering Manufacturing Are you an experienced Senior Buyer looking to join a growing engineering manufacturer where you'll have real influence over the supply chain?
We're looking for a commercially minded procurement professional to manage both direct and indirect spend, build strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, drive cost reduction initiatives, and support new product introduction within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing
Managing direct and indirect procurement activities.
Negotiating pricing, contracts and commercial agreements.
Developing and managing supplier relationships.
Driving supplier performance, cost savings and supply continuity.
Supporting new product introduction and cross-functional projects.
Working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality and Finance.
What we're looking for
Previous Senior Buyer or Buyer experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience purchasing technical or engineered components.
ERP/MRP experience and excellent commercial awareness.
Confident working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
