Production Planner Full Time, Permanent £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

Ree VR Talent are looking for a Production Planner to support our client's fast-paced manufacturing facility.

As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules to ensure customer demand is met efficiently while maximising production capacity.

Working closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Supply Chain teams, you will ensure materials, resources and priorities are aligned to keep production running smoothly.

You will play a key role in coordinating production activities through effective planning, communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities for Production Planner Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.

Monitor production progress and adjust plans to minimise delays and maximise efficiency.

Work closely with Purchasing and Materials teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules.

Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to resolve planning issues and capacity constraints.

Maintain accurate production planning data within the ERP/MRP system.

Review customer orders, forecasts and demand to prioritise production requirements.

Identify potential risks to production schedules and implement solutions to minimise disruption.

Produce reports on production performance, schedule adherence and capacity utilisation.

Support inventory optimisation by balancing production requirements with stock levels.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and production efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience Previous experience in a Production Planner, Manufacturing Planner or Scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling and manufacturing processes.

Confident using ERP/MRP systems.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Able to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.

High attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
