This is a quality role for someone who knows what “good” looks like and isn’t afraid to challenge what doesn’t. Working within a highly technical and regulated environment, you’ll have genuine ownership of quality across processes, suppliers, projects and customers. This isn’t simply about maintaining a QMS. You’ll be helping to build, improve and scale the quality function as the business continues to grow.
WHAT WILL YOU OWN?
- AQAP 2110 & ISO 9001 — implementing and maintaining the policies and processes required to meet both standards
- IEC 61508 — supporting the implementation of quality requirements around functional safety
- Supplier Quality — assessments, incoming inspection and ongoing supplier management
- CAPA & Audits — driving corrective actions and conducting internal/process quality audits
- Customer Quality — working directly with customer quality teams and managing project quality requirements
- Quality Reporting — ensuring the right measures, records and reporting are in place
- ESG & Compliance — supporting EcoVadis, ESG audits, CBAM and EUDR requirements where applicable
THE IMPORTANT BIT.
You MUST have hands-on AQAP 2110 experience. This is a genuine deal-breaker. If your background is solely ISO 9001, this won’t be the right opportunity. We’re looking for someone who has actually worked within/to AQAP 2110 and understands what that means in a real engineering environment.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
You’ll be joining a business where the technology is genuinely cutting-edge, the products are technically complex and the organisation is continuing to scale. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Influence quality rather than simply administer it
- Work across engineering, suppliers and customers
- Build and improve processes as the team grows
- Take ownership of a broad quality and compliance remit
And importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to make a visible impact.
ONE FINAL THING...
Due to the nature of the work, the successful candidate will be required to undergo security vetting and clearance checks. Candidates must meet the required security eligibility criteria.
