The predicted salary is between 47250 - 57750 Β£ per year.
A brand-new Quality Engineer position, created following a change in management and a clear decision to build a more structured, mature Quality function. This is a chance to join at the beginning of an important change in the Quality function and have a genuine say in how the QMS is developed and embedded across the business, with flexible working hours designed to give you a better work-life balance.

WHAT'S THE ROLE ABOUT?
- Maintaining and developing the AS9100 & ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Planning and conducting internal, procedural and product audits
- Investigating recurring issues and driving root cause and corrective action
- Managing non-conformances and ensuring effective resolution
- Supporting supplier quality and supplier audits
- Identifying quality risks through NPI, change control and sales order reviews
- Supporting inspection activities throughout manufacturing
- Maintaining and controlling QMS documentation
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen the wider Quality culture
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer who is ready to put more emphasis on the QMS side of Quality. You might currently be working as an engineer across production quality, quality inspection and problem-solving, but want your next move to give you greater exposure to:
- QMS
- Auditing
- AS9100
- ISO 9001
- Compliance
- Continuous Improvement
You'll ideally have experience with 8D, 5-Whys, root cause analysis and Quality Systems auditing, alongside the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business. Supplier audit experience would be advantageous.
