Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in technical or engineering-led environments? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative technology business delivering bespoke, high-performance computing and electronics systems for mission-critical applications.
We are looking for a confident and proactive Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of diverse engineering projects from quick-turnaround assignments to more complex, multi-month deliveries. You will play a key role in ensuring successful project outcomes, driving progress, and maintaining excellent communication across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource requirements
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects ranging from short-term (1-3 months) to longer-term (up to 9 months)
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate progress, manage expectations and resolve issues
- Identify and manage project risks, scope changes and technical variations, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation
- Track and report on project KPIs, resource usage and cost control
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal project management processes, tools and templates
- Collaborate on strategic planning for resource allocation and skill gap management
- Ensure all documentation is maintained throughout the full project lifecycle
- Proven experience managing multiple engineering or technical projects simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills with a structured approach to planning and execution
- Excellent communicator who can liaise effectively with technical teams, customers and senior management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Hands-on experience with resource planning, risk mitigation and process improvement
- Familiarity with formal project management methodologies and documentation standards
- A self-starter who takes ownership, drives progress and continuously seeks ways to improve delivery
