Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a passion for hands-on problem-solving and a background in rubber moulding? We are working with a specialist manufacturing business seeking a proactive and detail-focused individual to join their engineering team.
The Role:
This is a hands-on position supporting production processes directly on the shop floor. You will be responsible for developing and documenting new processes for rubber moulded components and related assembly operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing processes for injection, compression, and transfer moulding
- Supporting rubber testing and analysis with internal lab resources
- Involvement in rubber-to-substrate bonding and tooling optimisation
- Analysing moulding parameters to resolve production issues
- Delivering training and process handovers to machine operators
- Collaborating with CAD and tooling teams on design and implementation
