We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives on owning the full product lifecycle, from concept through to completion. If you're someone who’s not just great at CAD but understands how things are made and how they should be made, this is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Turning ideas into engineered reality using SolidWorks
- Producing technical designs and detailed drawings for manufacturing
- Supporting feasibility studies and site-based design assessments
- Playing a key role in delivering projects on time and to budget
- Liaising with internal engineers, suppliers, and project teams to keep everything moving smoothly
- Getting stuck into the full process from clean-sheet concept through to production handover
What You Bring:
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, Degree - we're open!)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (you use it in your sleep)
- Full product lifecycle experience from first sketch to finished build
- Solid manufacturing know-how; you understand tolerances, processes, and materials
- Experience in one or more of the following: Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering / Oil & Gas / Offshore Wind / Subsea
