Role Overview
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Utilities Engineer will provide reactive and planned maintenance support across a production facility. The role requires collaboration with multiple trades, ensuring utility systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Escalate operational or maintenance issues to the Team Leader as required.
- Assist other skilled trades with maintenance, testing, inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Maintain utility service levels to support uninterrupted production.
- Serve as first responder for site utility systems, including:
- Steam and condensate networks
- High and low-pressure compressed air
- Water treatment and distribution
- Effluent management systems
- Chemical dosing and delivery
- Cooling systems and water hygiene management
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Air handling and fixed cooling equipment
