Are you a Production Scheduler who enjoys keeping production moving, solving problems and making sure work gets completed on time? We’re looking for a Production Scheduler to take ownership of the day-to-day execution of the production plan, coordinating work orders, materials and shop floor activity to keep manufacturing on track.
Working closely with Production, Purchasing and other key teams, you’ll play an important role in identifying issues early, managing priorities and protecting customer delivery commitments.
As a Production Scheduler, you’ll be responsible for:
- Releasing and managing manufacturing work orders
- Monitoring progress through each stage of production
- Updating plans based on actual completion and shop floor status
- Managing material shortages and coordinating recovery actions with Purchasing
- Ensuring work is fully kitted before release
- Working closely with supervisors to manage bottlenecks and production disruptions
- Re-sequencing work where required to protect delivery performance
- Maintaining accurate production data and supporting effective MRP and scheduling outputs
- Using Epicor Global Scheduling priorities to ensure production execution remains aligned with the wider plan
What we’re looking for, as a Production Scheduler:
- Previous experience in manufacturing planning or production scheduling
- Experience working within an ERP environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Someone who is confident managing changing priorities and escalating risks early
- Epicor experience is great, but not ideal
