An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a well-established, highly regulated mechanical manufacturing business based in Luton. You'll take ownership of day-to-day manufacturing operations, leading production teams to deliver quality products safely, on time, and to customer expectations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive operational performance, continuous improvement, and employee engagement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Operations Manager.
- Background within a regulated mechanical manufacturing environment such as aerospace, defence, automotive, medical or precision engineering.
- Strong leadership experience managing Team Leaders and production teams.
- Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Good understanding of production planning, ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing KPIs.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 is advantageous.
