Due to continued growth, they are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on bespoke machinery projects from concept through to manufacture, combining mechanical design, fabrication, automation, and robotics technologies.

The Role

  • Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Design bespoke machinery and equipment from concept through to production.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
  • Develop sheet metal, fabrication, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Support the integration of automation and robotic systems into machinery designs.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Take ownership of projects and contribute to continuous product development and innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong SolidWorks and 3D CAD experience.
  • Previous experience designing machinery, special purpose equipment, or capital equipment.
