Senior Quality Inspector East Sussex £40,000–£45,000 Permanent Full-time Flexible Hours We’re recruiting for a Senior Quality Inspector to join a specialist precision engineering business manufacturing complex, tight-tolerance components and assemblies.You’ll be the senior inspector within the team, working alongside a Quality Supervisor and supporting three trainee inspectors. The Role Inspect complex components and sub-assemblies against drawings and specifications CMM programming – essential QCT CMM experience highly desirable Faro Arm experience highly beneficial Work with tight tolerances, GD&T and complex datum systems Raise and manage NCRs, investigate root causes and drive corrective actions Support supplier quality and continuous improvementAbout YouYou’ll have previous experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment, with strong CMM programming skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Experience within aerospace, automotive or nuclear would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of ISO 9001 and supplier quality. Benefits £40,000–£45,000 salary 25 days' holiday bank holidays 9% pension contribution (3% employee / 6% employer) Private Medical Insurance On-site gym EAP and Specsavers vouchers Electric Car Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Death in Service – 4x annual salary Annual Family Fun Day Annual Christmas Dinner & Dance with partnersA great opportunity for an experienced CMM/Quality Inspector looking to take a senior position within a specialist precision engineering environment
