This isn’t just another service role. This is the passport stamp you’ve been waiting for. We’re looking for an engineer who’s just as comfortable fault-finding in a control panel as they are jumping on a flight to support a system install across the world. If you enjoy precision machinery, problem-solving under pressure, and don’t want to be stuck behind a desk, read on.

Why this role? Because you’ll be working on high-performance, electro-mechanical systems that actually do something clever. Because every week is different: factory tests, on-site installs, customer training, overseas visits. Because you’ll be the go-to expert in the field, not just a cog in the machine.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Testing and prepping machines before they leave the UK
  • Installing and commissioning systems on-site (anywhere from Amsterdam to Arizona)
  • Troubleshooting with calm confidence, whether it’s electrical, mechanical, or a bit of both
  • Training customers and keeping their engineers in the know
  • Feeding field insights back to the product team so the next release is even better
  • Visiting our European partners to support testing and QA

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in commissioning or servicing electro-mechanical kit
  • Sharp fault-finding skills, electrical and mechanical
  • Able to read wiring diagrams like a novel
  • Comfortable running a training session and dealing with customers face-to-face
  • Qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ 3, HNC/HND or similar)
  • Happy to travel internationally for 2–3 weeks at a time
  • Methodical, curious, and genuinely interested in how things work

What’s on offer:

  • £40,000–£50,000 base salary
  • Annual performance bonus
  • 25 days holiday
  • Pension & private health cover
  • Flexible working when you’re not on the road
  • Global travel and genuinely varied work
  • Proper investment in your development

Apply now if you’re ready for something a bit more exciting than the usual 9–5. We’re looking for people who love the kit, love solving problems, and don’t mind living out of a suitcase every now and then.
