Fixed Term Maternity Cover 13 months. We're on the lookout for a Senior Quality Technician who thrives on solving problems, spotting the details others miss and making a real difference every day. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the heart of our quality team—investigating issues, supporting production, maintaining the highest standards and helping to ensure we deliver quality our customers can rely on. Whether you're looking for part-time hours with flexibility around the days you work, or you'd prefer full-time hours, we're happy to consider the working pattern that suits you.
What you'll receive:
- Up to £18.15 per hour (depending on experience)
- Work your way – choose 30 hours per week with flexibility around the days you work, or opt for full-time hours if that suits you better.
- 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata), including Christmas shutdown
- Company pension (5% employee / 3% employer contributions)

What you'll be doing:
- Investigate product and process non-conformities
- Support Root Cause Analysis and support effective corrective and preventive actions
- Analyse quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support with internal and external audits
- Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Service to resolve quality issues
- Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with our Integrated Management System
What we're looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work confidently across multiple teams
- Experience analysing data and identifying trends
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
It would be great if you also have experience with:
- Quality Engineering or a similar quality-focused role
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- 8D problem solving
- CAPA processes
- Electronics manufacturing
