ReeVR Talent are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join our clients test and validation team. This role involves hands‑on testing, programming, data collection and analysis of complex electromechanical systems in a test cell environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Engineer:

  • Program, configure, and commission electromechanical systems.
  • Set up and integrate measurement equipment such as torque, speed, current, voltage and temperature sensors.
  • Develop and carry out test plans for performance, efficiency, durability and fault testing.
  • Perform data logging and analyse test results.
  • Produce clear test reports and technical documentation.
  • Support the electrical and mechanical integration.
  • Troubleshoot system, control and instrumentation issues.
  • Follow high-voltage safety procedures and standards.
  • Assist with installation and manual handling of equipment.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong hands‑on experience programming and data logging systems.
  • Ability to integrate and calibrate electromechanical systems.
  • Understanding of high‑voltage safety and safe working practices.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or HND in Electrical, Electronic or related engineering discipline.
  • High‑voltage safety certification (desirable).
