Responsibilities
- Designing and developing advanced electro–mechanical products to meet specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Producing clear, accurate design documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and servicing
- Driving continuous improvement through design reviews and product optimisation
- Applying industry standards to ensure safety, compliance, and reliability
- Collaborating with production engineering and supply chain teams to take prototypes to full production
- Supporting quality and environmental management processes
- Researching and applying new technologies, materials, and design techniques
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering
- At least 3 years experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and related CAD tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques including CNC machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, welding, coatings, and 3D printing
- Practical, hands–on approach to solving engineering challenges
- Sharp attention to detail and drive to deliver high–quality, reliable products
