We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer who can design, develop, and bring control systems to life both on CAD and in code. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing and developing electrical control systems for automated machinery
  • Writing, testing, and modifying PLC code (Siemens, Rockwell, or similar)
  • Producing detailed schematic drawings, bills of materials, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, production, service, and sales
  • Supporting testing, commissioning, and product development activities
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety and electrical standards

What You Bring:

  • Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems
  • Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
  • Confident programming and fault-finding on PLCs
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of EN60204, EN13849, and EMC compliance
  • Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Experience working with bespoke machinery or in a manufacturing environment
