Join a global engineering business at the forefront of EV, Industry 4.0 and sustainable manufacturing. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will take ownership of electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, and full system integration for bespoke industrial equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop control systems from scratch (electrical & software)
- Write PLC/HMI programs (Siemens TIA Portal and Allen Bradley)
- Lead commissioning, FAT/SAT, and on-site installation
- Manage technical documentation, ensure compliance to 18th Edition
- Work closely with project, build, and service teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
What we’re looking for:
- 5 years experience in control systems for special purpose machinery
- Strong PLC/HMI development skills (Siemens & Rockwell essential)
- Solid knowledge of Profinet, Ethernet/IP, motion control and electrical standards
- HNC or above in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition qualified
