We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Financial Director to oversee the financial operations of a growing business. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial health and future of the firm. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will lead the finance department, guide financial strategy, and ensure robust risk management and regulatory compliance across the business.
What you will do:
- Work with pace and energy to create a high performing, vibrant culture culminating in operational excellence.
- Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company in line with overall business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/MD and board based on financial analysis and projections.
- Work closely with department heads to support commercial decision-making and performance monitoring of cost centres and budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to deliver high performance, development, and collaboration.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to financial services.
- Evaluate and manage risk across the business, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes.
- Represent the finance function in internal and external stakeholder meetings.
