A Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London. This will be a full-time long-term position, with scope to go permanent. Working days and hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting SEN and lower ability students in group or whole class intervention sessions
- Working with teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School is an 'Outstanding' Coeducational Free School & Sixth Form, located in the London Borough of Sutton. The school's staff endeavour to set high standards for their pupils, ensuring they continue to develop their attainment and personal character, preparing them for life after education.
Requirements:
