A vibrant and nurturing Greenwich primary school near Westcombe Park Station is looking for an inspiring Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September. This is a full-time role with a supportive leadership team and a well-resourced EYFS environment.

As a Reception Teacher, you will lead a class of enthusiastic, curious learners through a balance of play‑based exploration and structured early literacy and numeracy sessions. You will work closely with a dedicated EYFS TA and an experienced EYFS Lead who champions creativity and high‑quality early learning.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has secure EYFS curriculum knowledge and a passion for early learning
  • Can create warm, purposeful routines that support independence
  • Uses continuous provision effectively to extend learning
  • Has strong phonics understanding (Little Wandle or Read Write Inc. desirable)
  • Brings energy, organisation, and excellent communication

Both experienced teachers and confident ECTs with Early Years experience are welcome.
