Reeson Education is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed individual to join a dynamic educational organisation across multiple sites in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who wants to teach without QTS, take the next step in their career, and make a real difference to young people's education.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will be expected to cover short-term and long-term teaching needs, including absence cover for colleagues, across various subjects and activities. You will work with individual pupils, small groups, and full classes, providing high-quality learning experiences tailored to each child's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs of each pupil
- Maintain a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and reports
- Collaborate with other staff, including senior leadership and SEND teams
- Ensure safeguarding policies are always followed
- Plan, prepare, and review lessons and learning programmes
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
- Contribute to the school community and support extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months classroom experience (HLTA experience welcome)
- Proven ability to manage behaviour and support learning in primary or secondary settings
- Confident, organised, and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car for multi-site travel
- Passion for teaching and commitment to improving pupils' outcomes
