A specialist SEN school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a dedicated KS3 Teacher to teach a static Year 7 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed KS3 Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. The pupils in this class have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and complex needs, and require a patient, structured and supportive learning environment. The successful KS3 Teacher will work closely with two experienced Teaching Assistants who are based in the classroom full-time to support learning.

The Role

  • Teach a static Year 7 class within KS3
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted for pupils with ASD, SLD and complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with two TAs to support pupils' academic and social development
  • Create a structured, safe and inclusive classroom environment
