Exciting Opportunity for a Part-Time HLTA

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a nurturing and inclusive primary school in the Fareham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA or someone with equivalent experience looking to make a meaningful impact in a part-time role. The successful HLTA will work closely with teachers, SEND staff, and pupils to deliver high-quality learning support, interventions, and class cover.

Key Responsibilities of the HLTA Role:

  • Provide planned and ad-hoc class cover across year groups
  • Deliver booster sessions and targeted interventions to raise attainment
  • Support pupils with SEND and EHCP targets
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Follow guidance from external agencies to meet individual needs
  • Build nurturing relationships to help pupils overcome barriers to learning
