A Chemistry Teacher is needed in a Mixed Comprehensive Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London. This Chemistry Teacher role can be part or full time, although full time will be preferred. If appointed as a Chemistry Teacher, you will need to start on Tuesday the 22nd of April and stay with the school up to Friday the 18th of July, in the first instance. There is potential for this Chemistry Teacher post to go permanent. Teaching for this Chemistry Teacher position will be for KS3 to KS4 classes only. The rates of pay for this Chemistry Teacher will be between £160 to £300 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School is a 'Good' Mixed Comprehensive School & Sixth Form, for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Founded in 1971, the school now has just under 2000 pupils on enrolment. There are over 80 languages spoken by staff and pupils. In terms of facilities, there is an Olympic legacy sports set up in the gymnasium and dojo, as well as a shared use sports centre. A new building opened in 2011, providing new resources and equipment. The school holds an Artsmark Platinum and 4 PTI Awards. During their last inspection, Ofsted noted that the pupils display good behaviour. They are always ready to learn and are polite, caring of others and friendly.
Requirements: You’re encouraged to apply if you’re a recently qualified Chemistry Teacher or experienced Chemistry Teacher.
