A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Hammersmith is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from April. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who enjoys preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school and can create a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment during this important year.

The role

  • Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Supporting pupils through SATs with a balanced and positive approach
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, leadership, and support staff
  • Maintaining strong relationships with pupils and parents

The school is looking for someone who

  • Holds UK QTS
  • Has experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 6 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Is confident with assessment and tracking progress
  • Has strong behaviour management and high expectations for all learners
