Reeson Education is working with a large and high-achieving primary school in Walthamstow that is seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their vibrant team from November 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, skilled, and motivated Year 6 Teacher who thrives on helping pupils reach their full potential during this pivotal stage of their primary education.

This position is not suitable for ECTs – the school is specifically looking for an experienced Year 6 Teacher who has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and a proven track record of preparing pupils for SATs.

Overview

The Role – Year 6 Teacher: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will take responsibility for a bright and enthusiastic class in the final year of primary school. You\’ll deliver engaging and structured lessons, ensuring that every pupil feels supported and challenged. The ideal Year 6 Teacher will have high expectations of learning, behaviour, and achievement.

  • Provide support to pupils to help them reach their potential during KS2 and SATs preparation where required.

Qualifications and ideal experience
