Reeson Education is working with a primary school in Haringey, North London, seeking a committed and confident Primary Teacher to teach a Year 4 class from after the October half-term break.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, building positive relationships with pupils and creating a classroom environment where children feel motivated to learn.
The Role - Year 4 Primary Teacher
As the Primary Teacher, you will take responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering the curriculum and ensuring pupils remain engaged and make progress throughout the placement.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
- Teaching English, Maths and foundation subjects in line with the National Curriculum.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations.
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
- Supporting pupils' academic progress, confidence and personal development.
What We're Looking For
The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who can confidently lead a Year 4 classroom and maintain a consistent standard of teaching.
The ideal Primary Teacher will have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Confidence teaching KS2, ideally Year 4.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum.
- The ability to plan engaging lessons and assess pupil progress.
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach.
