A Basildon Alternative Provision Setting for students with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) is seeking Tutors for small group teaching. Subjects required include Maths, English, Health and Social Care, and Child Development.
This Alternative Education school caters to students in Years 9, 10, and 11 who have not coped or have been excluded from mainstream school and may display challenging behaviours. The school places high importance on mentoring, personal development, and work experience opportunities for their pupils.
There are multiple opportunities for Tutors, with teaching required up to GCSE and BTEC Level. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, during school hours. Tutors ideally need to work a timetable across both the Basildon and Romford sites and must be able to drive to travel between the two locations.
