Reeson Education is recruiting an After School Club Assistant for flexible work across schools in Hertfordshire. This After School Club Assistant opportunity is offered on a flexible, zero-hours basis, allowing you to provide your availability and accept suitable afternoon bookings around other commitments.

Location: Hertfordshire
Pay: £14.25-£16.65 per hour
Hours: 3pm-6pm
Setting: Primary schools and after-school clubs
Contract: Flexible / zero-hours supply
What You'll Be Doing
- As an After School Club Assistant, supervise children safely during the after-school period.
- The After School Club Assistant will help organise games, creative activities and age-appropriate play.
- Support children with positive social interaction and participation.
- An After School Club Assistant will help maintain a welcoming, organised and safe club environment.
- Support snack times and general club routines where required.
- The After School Club Assistant will follow each school's safeguarding, behaviour and collection procedures.
- Help with setting up activities and clearing away at the end of the session.
What We're Looking For in an After School Club Assistant
- Previous After School Club Assistant, childcare or school experience, or relevant transferable experience working with children.
- Experience from youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, playwork, childcare or community activities can be considered.
- Friendly, reliable and confident supervising groups of children.
- Good communication and strong safeguarding awareness.
- An After School Club Assistant must be comfortable travelling to different schools for suitable bookings.
