An English Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London. This English Teacher position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance. Teaching for this English Teacher post will be for KS3 to KS4 classes. KS5 lessons can be added on the timetable in the future depending on availability and experience of the appointed English Teacher.
Duties for this English Teacher role will initially involve covering English classes, carrying out minimal marking of pupils work and providing basic handovers to relevant members of staff.
The rates of pay for this English Teacher position will be between £150 and £250 a day, depending on each applicant's qualifications and experience.
The School: A 'Good' Non Selective Coeducational Academy located in the London Borough of Bexley. The school's history dates back to 2008. They have previously won a bronze, Green Apple Environmental Award. Personal Development plays a big part for students. There is guidance on careers, cultural days, educational school trips, regular PSHE lessons and a Student Council for all year groups. All pupils are encouraged to read daily and log activities related to Literacy.
Requirements: Applications are welcome if you’re a recently qualified English Teacher or experienced English Teacher.
