Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.Your Role as a Playworker As a Playworker, you will work alongside the club team to supervise children and deliver enjoyable activities before and after school. Organise games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and age-appropriate activities. Encourage children to participate, develop friendships and play cooperatively. Support breakfast and snack routines, following hygiene and allergy procedures. Promote positive behaviour through clear expectations and a calm approach. Follow safeguarding, attendance and collection procedures. Help keep the club space safe, tidy and organised.What We're Looking For in a Playworker Previous experience working with children in a school or nursery is essential. A dependable, proactive Playworker who is confident supervising groups. Availability for breakfast and/or after-school club sessions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues. An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one. Paediatric First Aid training is desirable but not essential.
