A welcoming and forward-thinking mainstream primary school in Wandsworth Town is seeking a committed and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join its team on a full-time basis starting ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly established EYFS provision for children aged 2-4, supporting the development and growth of a high-quality early years setting.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that supports children's early development in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress accurately
- Work collaboratively with teachers, early years staff, and parents/carers
- Maintain a safe, well-organised, and welcoming learning environment
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and ensure the welfare of all children at all times
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or higher)
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience working with children aged 2-4 in an early years setting
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
