Alternative Provision with a strong emphasis on Vocational courses and a Holistic approach is seeking Tutors. This is an Alternative Education school catering to students in Years 9, 10 and 11 who have not coped or have been excluded from mainstream school. They can display challenging behaviours.

Join the dedicated Teaching team at a school that places high importance on Mentoring, Personal Development and Work Experience opportunities for their pupils.

The Role

  • Multiple opportunities for Tutors - subjects required include: Maths, Science, Health and Social Care, Childcare/Child development.
  • Teaching required up to GCSE and BTEC Level.
  • This is a full-time role - Monday to Friday, School hours.
  • Tutor ideally needs to work a timetable across both sites, so be able to drive to travel to both the Romford and Basildon sites.
  • You will require a clear and valid DBS check.
  • We are looking for Tutors with a passion for working with disengaged young people!
