Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Take responsibility for the class
- Deliver planned lessons
- Manage behaviour and classroom routines
- Support pupils with different abilities
- Maintain a positive learning environment
- Work effectively with support staff
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
More Than Day-to-Day
Daily supply can be an excellent way to demonstrate your teaching ability to local schools.
Long-term placements can be made off the back of successful daily supply work, meaning a short-term booking could develop into a longer-term teaching position.
Requirements
- QTS is essential
- UK primary teaching experience
- Strong classroom management
- Flexible approach
- Reliable and professional
