Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30‑minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: 95.83 to 111.09 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
Contract Type: Full‑time, Long‑term
Reeson Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful and nurturing EYFS setting at a truly fantastic primary school in the heart of M11, Manchester. This Teaching Assistant role is full‑time, long‑term, and starts as soon as possible. This role will last for the rest of this school year, the whole of the next academic year and beyond.
The Teaching Assistant will be based within the EYFS, supporting across both Nursery and Reception. You will assist with class activities, lead small group interventions, and provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
- Work as a Teaching Assistant across EYFS, supporting Nursery and Reception pupils.
- Deliver small group interventions, 1:1 support, and general class assistance.
- Support learning through play, early phonics, and basic number activities.
- Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide tailored support for children with social, emotional, and developmental needs.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
- Be a passionate and engaging Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience.
- Have a sound understanding of child development and early years frameworks.
- Be creative, adaptable, and confident working across different EYFS settings.
- Be able to support children with a wide range of needs, including SEND.
- Show excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.
- A genuine passion for working in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant.
