Responsibilities
- Work with and support students who require additional support in the classroom.
- Provide academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture and provide emotional support when needed.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus.
- Be aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Requirements
- Experience or training as a teaching assistant at any stage in your career.
- Passion for supporting pupils and a willingness to progress toward a teaching career.
- Languages background (French, Spanish or German) preferred.
