Responsibilities

  • Work with and support students who require additional support in the classroom.
  • Provide academic support, either one-on-one or in a small group.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture and provide emotional support when needed.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage focus.
  • Be aware of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Requirements

  • Experience or training as a teaching assistant at any stage in your career.
  • Passion for supporting pupils and a willingness to progress toward a teaching career.
  • Languages background (French, Spanish or German) preferred.
  • UK working rights.
