Pay Range: £14.25 to £16.65 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM (30-minute lunch break)

This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and making a positive impact every day.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

  • The Teaching Assistant will work across Key Stage 1, supporting children with a range of learning and communication needs.
  • The Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support as well as small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.
  • The Teaching Assistant will assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • The Teaching Assistant will liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual education plans.
  • The Teaching Assistant will help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning experience for all pupils.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:

  • Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, particularly in Key Stage 1.
  • Be a Teaching Assistant who is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's well-being.
  • Be calm, patient, and enthusiastic about learning and pupil development.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's education.
