This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is perfect for someone who is dedicated to supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and making a positive impact every day.
About the Teaching Assistant Role:
- The Teaching Assistant will work across Key Stage 1, supporting children with a range of learning and communication needs.
- The Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support as well as small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy.
- The Teaching Assistant will assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- The Teaching Assistant will liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support individual education plans.
- The Teaching Assistant will help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning experience for all pupils.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
- Have prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Be confident supporting pupils with SEN, particularly in Key Stage 1.
- Be a Teaching Assistant who is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's well-being.
- Be calm, patient, and enthusiastic about learning and pupil development.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
