Reeson Education is seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Bolton area . This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is to begin as soon as possible and offers an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis.
The school is looking for a nurturing Teaching Assistant who can build strong, supportive relationships with children and contribute positively to the wider school community.
About the Teaching Assistant Role
- The Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 1.
- The pupil has a diagnosis of ASD, MLD, and some social and emotional needs.
- The Teaching Assistant will focus on emotional regulation, classroom engagement, and supporting learning tasks.
- The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to deliver tailored strategies.
- This Teaching Assistant role requires patience, creativity, and a flexible, child-led approach.

Teaching Assistant Requirements
- Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role, ideally with SEND experience.
