Academic Mentor needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London. This will be a full-time long-term position with scope to go permanent. Working hours for this post will be 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
- Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
- Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
- Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
- Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
Rates of Pay: Between £99.75 to £116.55 a day, depending on qualifications and experiences.

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff. 90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
